Corporate governance (estate restructuring – vetting (reviewing), managing and drafting a wide range of commercial agreements and documents (e.g cash management and ancillary services agreement, purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, RFQs, SLAs, MOUs, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements and AODs), trust deeds, company registrations, drafting of various documents used to register and manage any type of company or trust i.e Memoranda of Incorporations, Shareholder agreements, Trust deeds, Resolutions e.t.c).
Conveyancing (servitudes, securities, cessions bonds, property transfers, usufructs and township developments).

Key Responsibilities:
Debt Collections: Collation of supporting documents for claims being made.
Sending letters of demand. Facilitating the signature of Acknowledgement of Debt agreements.
Overseeing prelitigation debt collection processes and coordinating with external legal counsel when required.
Managing debt collection assignments with external attorneys.
Assistance with the maintenance of company secretarial documentation.
Contract Management: Drafting, amending and fine-tuning various standard agreements
Reviewing and approving external standard agreements as well as dispute resolution through the interpretation, analysis and application of contractual terms.
Training and Development: Conduct and develop legal training for employees and redesigning the manner in which the company provides feedback to clients’ requests for changes to contracts, during the negotiation and execution thereof.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and compliant legal records and documentation, which are compliant and reflective of the company’s interest.
Supplier Management: Handle legal aspects of supplier relationships and manage onboarding processes.
