What are the payment terms?We operate on a monthly advance payment model, which functions similarly to an escrow arrangement. This structure offers peace of mind for both parties. Your payment is securely held and only released to the legal professional once work is delivered. It also provides a clear opportunity to address any concerns before funds are disbursed, ensuring accountability and transparency throughout the engagement.

Can we ask the contractor to complete a competency task?Yes, we welcome and encourage firms to assign a competency-based task as part of their evaluation process to ensure the candidate meets the required standards. If the task is under two hours in duration, there is no associated cost. For more extensive assessments exceeding two hours, a nominal fee may apply to fairly compensate the professional for their time and effort.
