Key Responsibilities:
Legal Services - Lead and manage a legal consulting firm offering tailored legal advisory and mediation services to individuals, SMEs, and corporates across South Africa.
Provide outsourced legal consulting and contract management services across sectors such as finance, healthcare, education, IT, manufacturing, and logistics.
Deliver expert legal advice aligned with South African legislation including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), National Credit Act (NCA), Companies Act, and Labour Relations Act.
Draft, revise, and negotiate commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, service-level agreements, lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and terms and conditions.
Assist clients with business structuring, compliance policies, corporate governance, and risk mitigation strategies.
Conduct in-depth legal research and draft customised legal opinions to support strategic decision-making and dispute prevention.
Resolve legal matters including contractual breaches, third-party disputes, and litigation support in partnership with affiliated legal practitioners.
Consult to legal firms on overflow or complex matters, including litigation strategy, drafting, and legal risk advisory.
Mediation & Dispute Resolution Services - Facilitate mediation in family, civil, workplace, and commercial disputes, guiding parties toward collaborative and cost-effective resolutions.
Mediate disputes involving divorce, custody, maintenance, estate planning, and family settlements with sensitivity and confidentiality.
Assist in resolving contractual, partnership, and employment-related disputes through structured facilitative mediation.
Conduct pre-mediation consultations, draft mediation agreements, and support parties through each phase of the mediation process.
Promote mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method aligned with court-annexed procedures and legal reforms in South Africa.
Ensure neutrality and fairness while guiding clients to practical, mutually acceptable solutions that preserve professional and personal relationships.
