About the Candidate.

I have more than 2 decades of comprehensive experience spanning both private and public sectors, with specialized expertise across diverse industries including Legal, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Mediation, Government, Music, Entrepreneurship, Property, Public speaking, and soft skills. I am recognized as a highly agile and skilled legal professional with a proven track record. Attending a lecture on “The Abolishment of Marital Power” at the University of Johannesburg inspired me to pursue a career in the legal profession at the tender age of fourteen. I completed my BCom LLB at the University of Pretoria in 1994. I was employed by the Financial Services Board (FSB), which awarded me a bursary to complete my LLB degree. At the FSB, I handled private-sector pension fund contracts and consulted with senior legal advisors from various companies to resolve legal disputes. I was admitted as an advocate in 1995 and enrolled for pupillage. Due to relocation and starting a family, this was placed on hold. I was chairlady of a women's ministry of a considerable-sized church for a year. I completed the FAMAC course on divorce mediation in 2009, divorce facilitation in 2012 and international divorce mediation by the School of London in 2016.. I have completed the four-year pastoral therapy qualification with a dissertation topic titled “Family Violence vs. Divorce.” I have combined my legal background with my pastoral therapy qualification and mediation training to return to Law as an attorney. I have been running my own practice for nearly 10 years. After hours, I do divorce and life coaching. I am trustworthy, loyal, and honest, approachable, yet possess a strong and compelling presence in court. I build healthy relationships and am a dedicated Christian.
