Key Responsibilities:
Drafting bail affidavits (Schedule 1,5 and 6) and applying for bail on behalf of clients in reception court.
Preparing for and conducting trials in Criminal Court.
Conducting research, consulting with clients, and providing legal advice.
Drafting legal opinions to determine whether a certain civil case has merits if it were to proceed to Court.
Drafting pleadings, notices, and correspondence for civil matters.
Upholding the Code of Ethics as required by the legal profession.
Upholding the values of ubuntu, integrity, accountability, service excellence and access to justice.
