Key Responsibilities:
Attending to legal matters various commercial properties.
Drafting: letters of demand, summons, particulars of claim, notice of motion, founding affidavits, supporting and supplementary affidavits, legal opinions, matter update reports and contracts.
Attending to issuing, filing and serving of court documents.
Reviewing commercial agreements/contracts.
General commercial litigation.
Attending arbitrations and adjudications.
Creating and organising office files and court files.
Answering office telephone calls.
Filing documents.
Research on legal current issues, perusing and analysing recent case law and legal articles.
Reading cases and drafting case summaries.
Sitting in during consultation with Counsel and taking notes.
Attending mediation and court proceedings.
