Key Responsibilities:
Intake - First point of contact for potential new clients
Attend to intake forms and evaluate court records and procedural posture to determine appeal viability.
Schedule appointments
Draft engagement agreements
Handle onboarding of new clients
Process trust requests and set up payment plans

Legal Office - Prepare, review and file appellate briefs in accordance with Virginia Court procedure.
Manage the appellate process from final order through to oral argument; including tracking of jurisdictional deadlines and procedural compliance
Compile weekly reports for the managing attorney for projected benchmarks and deadlines.
Coordinate with court clerks, opposing counsel and internal staff to ensure timely submissions on VACES.
